Edgard is the CEO and creator of Bio Ritmo, a dominant company in Brazilian sporting activities. The company has also influenced other Latin American nations. Edgard Corona manages other sports-oriented ventures, apart from creating and leading a fitness group. Edgard Gomes Corona is famous for his exclusive professional trajectory because he had other industrial experiences. Away from his profession, Edgard Corona had some unique political positioning.
Born in the 1950s, Edgard finished high school and joined Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado for a chemical engineering program from 1974 t0 1979. After graduating, Edgard joined a family business called Acucareira Corona, and he managed to start a business career because the firm was experiencing financial problems. Edgard Corona became the group’s COO to rescue the situation. The operations director helped to recover the business, and after executing a present-day management prototype, Acucareira regained its competitiveness.
When the company started getting excellent results, Edgard Corona became more comfortable in his position. However, in the 1990s, the company experienced some internal challenges that forced Edgard to leave. Immediately after that, Corona started managing a family’s fitness academy and even dedicated more time to the venture.
In 1996, Edgard wanted to chart a distinct professional path, so he created SmartFit. He implemented similar objectives at the sugar factory to manage the sporting venture. However, SmartFit did not develop initially, and Corona had to launch a fitness chain on Avenida Paulista. The idea was to help the busy regional workers and never participate in physical fitness activities.
This initiative was triumphant, and the fitness chain became prominent because it established new units in other towns and cities. Edgard was focused on the firm’s growth because he attended relevant conferences abroad. He interacted with experienced managers, which enabled him to establish a better business model.
